Catcher’s Fish House, located at 301 Woodcleft Avenue in Freeport, is set to officially open its doors to the public Wednesday, May 3 at 4 p.m., according to the eatery’s Facebook page.
Nestled into Freeport’s nautical mile, Catcher’s Fish House advertises a “unique twist on classic seafood dishes,” as well as a menu for just about any dining occasion – in addition to their lunch and dinner menus (each with its own array of dishes), Catcher’s offers desserts, a separate section of bar-only food, and Sunday brunch.
“The menu at Catcher's Fish House is diverse and appealing, with a range of seafood options to suit all tastes,” the restaurant wrote in its Facebook description, adding that the spot focuses on fresh and locally-caught fish. “From classic fish and chips to grilled swordfish, there is something for everyone.”
Just in time for summer, the eatery boasts a dockside bar, where diners can sip on drinks while watching the sunset over the water.
Prices average between $25 to $35 for many dishes, with more expensive and seafood-forward dishes sitting near $45 (for example, the pan-seared scallops with saffron risotto and lobster cream).
Eager foodies can get a taste of Catcher’s Fish House starting Wednesday, May 3 at 4 p.m.
After its official opening, the restaurant will be open seven days a week. Find more information on the restaurant’s website here.
